12 Days of Christmas Newest China

I had seen these online awhile back but forgot all about them.  Carly had the beautiful cake stand she picked up.  That for sure brought it back to my mind again.  It was gorgeous, so I searched online to see if I could find any.  It was sold out online and ebay had some at extremely expensive prices.  I had realized that owning them would probably be impossible.  But....

as luck would have it, she decided to search for them one day after work for me.  Success she did find some pieces!  I was happy!  Not that I need another dish, silverware, cooking item in this house.  This dish hoarder couldn't resist the pattern!  I'm excited!

Question:  Where will I store this?

Answer:  "I'll think about that tomorrow.  After all tomorrow is another day!"

My photos do not do these pieces justice
They are so beautiful with gold trim
The colors are just gorgeous!

How simple is this?
Little bird, fresh fruit and small pine limbs cut on the day
For some reason I had no theme this year until almost the day of
Sometimes those are the best ideas!
You can't see in photo but am using table linens trimmed embroidery and delicate crocheted trim.
Understated but beautiful.

The view into the Foyer and into the Living Room where the Christmas Tree stands
Love the candles Carly talked me into buying!
They look so good in my mama Dot's glass candlesticks!
They are two of the very few items I have of her's
Special items mean so much at the holidays!

Check out the design on the dinner plate!
Absolutely beautiful!
The gold chargers came from The Dollar Tree a few years back.
I rarely go but when I do pretty things can be found.
You may have to look thoroughly through their stock to find blemish free
But it is worth it!

Carly found the salt and pepper shakers!
The price would surprise you I know!

1 Partridge in a Pear Tree,  2 Turtle Doves and 3 French Hens
Christmas Salad Plate Design
Although I have a side shot of this, you can still see the design
I love the french hens, especially since I've owned some of them.

4 Calling birds, 5 Golden rings, 6 Geese a-laying
Aren't they pretty?
The salt & pepper shakers are in the background

7 Swans a-swimming, 8 Maids a-milking, 9 Ladies dancing
Look at this!

10 Lords a-leaping, 11 Pipers piping, 12 Drummers drumming
Each plate is pretty!

Cake Pedestal
The cover was my grandmother's
The cake on the left is Genolia's Raisin Nut Cake
The cake on the right is my simple pound cake
They were both delicious
I am the 'Strawberry Lady' so of course I added strawberries with whipped cream
To the pound cake

I hope you enjoyed the 12 Days of Christmas China
Better Homes & Gardens collection
I, being a china collector (hoarder), didn't buy the bowls, pasta bowls, nor platter
That was my new non clutter move for the year 2017!

Now I'm off to clear room for my new Christmas China in cabinet.

Happy New Year to you all!

  1. Beautiful dinner ware, actually the tablescape is perfect in my eyes. With anymore it would be overstated. This way lets you admire the beautiful art. Well done.
