Soothing Oatmeal Herbal Milk Bath

I don't know about you but I have extremely dry skin this time of the year.  It seems that no amount of lotion can help it alone.  A good soak in a soothing bath can relax and help that itchy skin.
You don't have to add all of the ingredients that I've added today but any combination should work
as long as you keep the oatmeal in it.  You can even turn the oatmeal into a powder alone and that has healing, soothing properties.  Join me today for a simple to make soak.

Ingredients
4 cups oatmeal
2 cups nonfat dry milk
1/2 cup baking soda
1 2/3 cups Epsom Salt
2 cups corn starch
20 or more drops of lavender essential oil or use Lavender flowers
1/2 tsp. olive oil

Fresh sprigs of rosemary, peppermint and spearmint, or any other herb you'd like to use.
Discard rough stems.

Food Processor
Sealed container to hold bath powder

Place oatmeal and Epsom Salt in processor.  Process until they become a powder.  The Epsom Salt will help to process the oatmeal into a powder faster and is known to be a relaxing soak in the bath as well.
Add remaining ingredients
Take your herbs strip from stems and place leaves into processor
Pulse for a few seconds, checking to see progress.  This won't take long at all.

That is all there is to it.  Place into the container and seal.

Add 1/4 cup to the bath

* Discontinue use if you have any bad reactions.

I hope you'll
 enjoy your Oatmeal Bath
You may know if you follow Hibiscus House that I am an extremely allergic person.
That being said this combination is not bothering me in any way.
If you are an allergic person then use ingredients at your own discretion, rather safe than sorry.
If I encounter allergic reactions I will certainly let you know

Until next time,
