Hibiscus House Yellow Daylilies

Hibiscus House Daylily Showcase Series
The Yellow Daylily

I am going to showcase the daylilies of Hibiscus.   I wanted to share with you a few of the yellow daylilies that have been blooming their little heads off. Don't you just love daylilies?  I appreciate them more now than I did when I was younger.  They are some of the most carefree flowers to have and repay you many times over.  If you don't have any do yourself a favor and buy plenty of them if your zone allows.  You won't regret it. I hope you enjoy these often overlooked bulbs.

Hope you enjoyed our 'Yellow Daylily Tour',  many more colors to follow.

  1. Lovely Daylilies Dolly! I just added a soft yellow variety that smells like gardenias to my garden as well. Yours are beautiful! But then your entire garden is amazing! Hugs!

  2. Awww thanks Deb! I appreciate that because your garden is amazing. A tour girl, that was a great idea! I can't wait to make the citrus water! Something like that is so good for quenching the thirst! I know all enjoyed the tour bet you did too!

  3. I appreciate them now and did not so much when I was younger. I grow a lot of the Stella de Oro lilies that continually bloom all summer. LOVE them. I even like the old tiger lilies. xo Diana

    1. Hi Diana,
Oh my goodness yes to the Stella de Oro lilies they have to be a part of every garden, I agree with you! My Mama would walk us around her yard to see her gardens when we were so young and I know that instilled in us the love of gardening and that particular one seemed to always be in bloom...Oh yes have some Tiger lilies in bloom now, my Mother in law gave me my first black round seed and that was so many years ago..I sure hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

  4. Me too, I have Stella De Oro, the only yellow I have. My other day lilies are the orange variety. I need a flower garden reorganization, maybe for next season and add some mid summer color that isn't pink/purple. More yellow would be nice.

    1. Good Morning Kathy,
Oh I'll bet your pink/purple are beautiful, now I need to add some of those colors. We have been on this property 7 years and I thought I was so smart with where I placed things. Planning every place to put them...laughing yeah that worked out well..I would change everything and basically am moving things and adding more...Guess gardening is a never ending job that is fun! Have a great week sweet friend..
