Signs of Spring

It is sad when something happens and a Bluebird leaves their nest...had to clean this out of one of the houses,  I love bird nests and their beautiful eggs....

I love to decorate with nests and with these eggs in tact this one will be pretty.
These daffodils are so pretty this year too

My Favorite time of year!

  1. Dolly,
I enjoyed seeing your signs of spring around your house. You have some pretty daffodils blooming. I hate to report that Leo whacked down ours when he was trimming the border grass! I didn't have the heart to tell him! So sad about the bluebird eggs, but at least you get to enjoy looking at them.

  2. I hate when they abandon their nests for some reason. Poor things. They are beautiful though, aren't they? I love your Spring pictures- we are in the midst of a snow storm here tonight with at least 5 or 6 inches- so far- ugh- xo Diana

  4. Hi Dolly,
How blessed you are to have bits of Springtime making it's joyous debut. We are still having occasional snowflakes grace our days. I yearn for the golden daffodils and pretty little purple crocus to begin to pop up.
I'm so glad you rescued the sweet little nest of blue eggs.
    Blessings,
    Carolynn xo

  5. Beautiful eggs! I don't think you could improve on nature's color. We're getting some slight signs of Spring, the iris are popping up and the weeds are doing great!

  8. So nice to see signs of spring!! Don't you love to find nests. It's just sad that this one was left behind after so many years of use. Enjoy the warm temps, my friend.
