Nancy is an author and native of Concord, North Carolina with a long time interest in history and genealogy.

Her books are popular in the Carolina's as well as national and international.
She joins Mark Twain as one of the few authors who has been awarded the prestigious "Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal" by The United Daughters of the Confederacy.  Her books have also been on the bestseller lists on Amazon.

As a history reeenactor, she says that writing comes natural to her.  She was often asked questions that led her into countless hours of research and the more she discovered the more she had to share.  She is quoted to say, "History is a never-ending story waiting to be told."
She says it is exciting to receive emails from people all over the world.

She has had people as far away as Australia plan their American holiday around a trip to Stanly County and Concord.

Her Historical fiction books include:

Nancy says, " I don't just believe in God. I KNOW him. I have seen him, he talks to me and he comforts me in times of need. I have worked hard, but it was God that gave me the strength, the determination and the talents. Everything that I am, or will be, it is by his grace I have received. If you think this is old fashion, so be it."

Vernon Brewer (Nancy's husband) on the left and General Lee on the right.
Can be believe the resemblance?  It is amazing.

Nancy I want to thank you for sharing your talent and wonderful photographs with us, and I can't wait to read your books.
